There are moments in the life of a creative agency that feel bigger than an award, moments that remind us why we do what we do. Winning Gold at the E4M Maverick Awards 2025 for our campaign “India Fights Back: Cyber Awareness in Action” was one such moment for us at Interactive Bees.

What began as a simple brief, to make people more aware of cybercrime, soon grew into a mission that touched the lives of everyday citizens across India.
Cyber awareness is often seen as something distant or technical. But for us, it wasn’t just about phishing links and passwords; it was about protecting someone’s hard-earned savings, a student’s digital identity, a senior citizen’s peace of mind.
So, we set out to tell these stories in a way that felt real. Not preachy. Not jargon-heavy. Just human.
Cyber Awareness Became Real
That’s how our print campaign came alive, through comic books, newspaper ads, and OOH creatives that made people pause for a second and think, “Wait, could this happen to me?”
From bustling metro stations and airports to the vibrant & massive gathering of the Kumbh Mela, our messages travelled far and wide. Each touchpoint became an opportunity to spark awareness, a small step toward a safer digital India.
When the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), an initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs trusted us with this project, we knew we had to do more than just communicate...we had to connect. Every character we drew, every word we wrote, carried a sense of purpose.
It wasn’t just design; it was dialogue.

E4M Maverick Awards Recognised Our Efforts
The E4M Maverick Awards 2025 is one of the industry’s most anticipated recognitions for independent agencies and marketing innovators across India. It celebrates those who challenge conventions, break barriers, and reshape the landscape of communication and creativity.
Now in its third edition, the awards are known for their rigorous jury process and their focus on originality and impact, honouring campaigns that don’t just look good on paper but make a real difference in the world.
Winning Gold in the Best Print Campaign category at such a platform means a lot. It’s a validation that our work stood out among some of the finest creative minds in the country, that our storytelling carried both meaning and momentum.

When our efforts culminated in this Gold win, it felt like a collective victory, for the team that worked tirelessly behind the scenes, for the client who believed in our approach, and for everyone who paused, read, and reflected on those messages out there in the world.
Awards, of course, are shiny reminders of success. But what truly stays with us is the impact, knowing that somewhere, someone avoided a scam because they saw one of our posters or read one of our comics. That’s the real reward.
